Elan SL Fusion X is a true versatile slalom carver, built with the DNA of the SLX Fusion in a more manageable construction. It's a race car that leaves enough fuel in the tank for all-day carving enjoyment. A bit more forgiving than the SLX, this is the ski of choice for charging hard, yet forgiving enough for smooth easy piste skiing. For added feel and agility in perfectly connected slalom turns it's equipped with Elan's innovative Arrow Technology which utilizes strategically shaped carbon plate and titanium structural layers that work in harmony to deliver lightning-quick response, with world-class precision and accuracy. A cambered carbon plate is fixed to the ski and acts as a booster that generates power to the tip. An arrow-shaped titanium layer gathers and transfers this energy simultaneously that translates into instant superior edge pressure. A brand new R² FRAME Woodcore a unique tip-to-tail laminated wood core where a softer wood center is reinforced by a hardwood frame, allowing the core material to distribute forces evenly from tip to tail. This robust construction allows for a variety of flex patterns for different skiing types and giving the skier a pure confidence feeling. RST Construction of the sidewalls optimizes the transfer of power and energy from the skier to the edge, providing maximum edge hold from the tip to the tail of the ski. In combination with Dual Ti - sandwiched wood core with two layers of titanium - it will bring your ski to the next level. It has a Camber Profile which gives it edge contact from tip to tail and provides superior edge grip, stability, and power transmission over the full length. Power Rebound System, which combines a lifted Fusion X binding system and a fully cambered carbon infused plate, will work in tandem to boost power and rebound at the end of the turn.
